The Effect:

A toy elephant is placed in full view on the table. A house of cards is carefully built around it. A light shines through the cards, your audience can see the elephant's silhouette right up until the very last second. Then the house of cards collapses. The elephant is gone. Completely vanished.

The card box that has been in view the entire time is opened. The elephant is inside.

I set out to created a grand illusion on a close up scale. I wanted a piece of magic that I could perform anywhere but had a real feel of “This is special”. The Vanishing Elephant really is that one thing in my repertoire that I can always rely on to take a typical performance and instantly turn it into something that feels like an extraordinary moment. It sold out in 15 minutes at The Session 2026 and received a standing ovation and I truly believe it’s the most special piece of magic I've ever created.
